This is a re-post. After looking back and realizing how awful my retouching job had been, I decided to give them a one-over. I know, I know, I am my own worst critic. But seriously.
The model here is Rachel Dashae – extremely talented and out there making a name for herself. Check out more of her work on flickr. I was fortunate enough to have her sitting around my apartment just a few nights after getting my new lights. So this shoot was, for the most part, unplanned and executed completely on a whim.

One of my light bulbs broke right before this shoot started. The headshots came out okay as far as I’m concerned, but the others needed a lot more light around the bottom. Things that break are stinky things.
P.S. – This website can be rather disagreeable sometimes. Meaning, the previews always look different than the product. Suddenly things I centered are no longer centered. It makes the little perfectionist in me squirm.
