3982329185_69e66936c7_mI will admit now that I am terrible at writing about myself.  In fact, my usual response to the bio thing is to invite any curious passersby to simply ask me questions. But, that never happens. So, I suppose I will start off with the basics:

My name is Lindsey Heath, I am twenty-one years old and I am a freelance Virginia-based photographer and artist whose portfolio has been rapidly growing since 2004. I took my first photography class in eleventh grade (I think!) and I’ve been hooked ever since. I am mostly self-taught and I shoot primarily in digital, though I own a slew of film cameras I love to use just as much. I specialise mostly in creative portraiture, but I am not limited to it. I am constantly experimenting and I will not close myself off to any new possibilities.

I’m a little shy, but don’t let that deter you. I genuinely love doing what I do. Among other things, I’ve done portraits for local musicians, models, children and high school seniors. As of right now, I do not own a studio. I can, however, still take studio-quality photographs using a modest set of portable umbrella lights. On-location is fun for me, so that is always an option too!

If you are interested in working with me, feel free to drop me an e-mail and check out the other pages on my wordpress for more information!
